1. Our commitment
Prosper Manufacturing is committed to making prosper-mfg.com accessible to as many people as possible — including users who rely on assistive technology, keyboard navigation, screen readers, or low-vision tooling. We treat accessibility as an ongoing operational discipline, not a one-time audit.
2. Standards we follow
This site is designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA published by the W3C. WCAG 2.1 AA is the de-facto standard cited in U.S. ADA Title III, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act.
We aim for full conformance and document any known gaps below as part of our ongoing remediation backlog.
3. Measures we've taken
- Semantic HTML: Pages are built with native landmark elements (
nav, main, footer) and properly nested heading hierarchy. - Color contrast: Body text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable using a keyboard. Focus indicators are visible across the site.
- Alt text: Meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes; decorative graphics are marked accordingly so they are skipped by screen readers.
- Form labels and validation: Every form input has an associated label, and validation errors are announced to assistive technology.
- Responsive design: Layouts reflow gracefully across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports without horizontal scrolling at standard zoom levels.
- Reduced-motion support:Animations respect the user's operating system
prefers-reduced-motionsetting where applicable.
4. Compatibility
We test against the latest two stable releases of the following browsers and assistive technologies:
- Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge — desktop and mobile.
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
- NVDA on Windows.
- JAWS on Windows.
The site may not work as expected in browsers more than three major versions behind current.
5. Known limitations
We document accessibility issues as we identify them and prioritize them in our engineering backlog. As of the last review:
- Some animated cross-border map and integration visuals on landing pages rely on decorative motion. Reduced-motion preferences will progressively be applied to these in upcoming releases.
- The discovery-call scheduler is provided by an embedded third-party tool. Its accessibility is governed by that vendor's implementation; an alternative scheduling path via email is always available at hello@prosper-mfg.com.
- Long-form documents distributed by Prosper (compliance packs, audit reports) are delivered as PDFs. We deliver tagged, screen-reader-friendly PDFs by default and will provide an alternative format on request.
6. Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, or if you need information in an alternative format, please contact us:
- Email: accessibility@prosper-mfg.com
- General contact: hello@prosper-mfg.com
Please include the URL of the page in question, the browser and assistive technology you're using, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and respond with a fix or alternative within ten business days.
7. Continuous review
This statement is reviewed quarterly. Major site releases trigger a focused accessibility review on the changed surfaces. We treat any reported barrier as a defect to be triaged, prioritized, and resolved.
